Raising children is hard, but extremely rewarding. Raising a child with special needs complicates this task immensely. I was a first-grade teacher when my daughter was born and after a year of normal development, she reached a plateau. I scheduled an appointment with her doctor's and my world came crashing down when we found out she had Retts Syndrome.
Over the last few years, I've gathered a number of resources and tools I use to help my daughter and find local resources to support her needs. I want to share them with you here.
